For a more recent update of what I’m up to, please see my now page.
I’m currently living in Melbourne and spend most of my time in front of the computer both at and outside of work.
Most days I’m just a young adult with a tendency towards laziness but I aspire to be a scholar of the human condition. I really like hearing about peoples lives and am curious about a wide range of subjects. I enjoy having meaningful discussions and live to hear and share interesting ideas and perspectives.
I like to think of myself as positive and encouraging, and actively try to look on the bright side of things. We are inheritors of some really big challenges but I remain hopeful and get inspired by people doing really important and interesting work.
When I have spare time, I enjoy reading books in cafes and like going for long walks in the forest or on the beach.
Me in a Timeline
I grew up in Singapore, which was really nice! Hot, humid, safe, convenient. I was mostly an indoor-kid, read a lot and enjoyed playing board games and computer games.
When I was 15, I left my family and moved to Brisbane, Australia to live with my aunt as I wanted to experience life in a different country. Studied psychology in university as I thought it would help me better understand human behaviour. I only realized after that aspects of human behaviour are studied across all the humanities! Nevertheless, I’m glad I studied psychology.
After I graduated, I had no idea what I wanted to do and ended up working across customer-facing roles, the latest of which as a Customer Success Manager in a small software company.
I quit that job and moved to Melbourne because I’ve always wanted to live in a bigger city and absolutely adore the vibrancy and artistic vibes of this place! Currently experimenting around as to what I want to spend my time doing.
